Data Analyst (Junior/Mid)
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who will support our global customers, mainly in the pharmaceutical industry, in building innovative data products and services. We’re looking for a team-player who can also work independently and is willing to take the initiative. Your role will incorporate elements of Business Analyst, Data Analyst, and Analytics Engineer functions.
Responsibilities:
- Gathering, managing and confirming business requirements for the reporting/analytical software under development
- Managing communication with business stakeholders and a Scrum Team
- Actively participating, and sometimes, leading meetings (e.g., clarifying business requirements, discussing the design, presenting outcomes)
- Performing preliminary analysis of data and the relationships within in, and preparing analytical SQL scripts for integrating new data sources or modifying existing integrations
- Preparing test cases for the solutions being implemented, and supporting end users with data validation and/or report testing
- Writing analytical documentation for end users (technical and business)
- Troubleshooting, problem solving, and discovering dependencies in data
- Creating presentations/documentation presenting the results of data analyses and/or proposed solutions to encountered problems
- Creating internal and external training materials
- Working closely with our clients to build the mutual trust and become a trusted advisor
- 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Good familiarity with SQL
- Very good command of English
- Familiarity with Excel - data presentation
- Analytical and logical thinking
- Can do attitude
- Critical thinking – be able to challenge ideas, suggest improvements
- You don't like client contact
- You prefer to work individually
Nice to have:
- Experience in Pharma, Animal Health industries
- Experience in AI, Data Integration or Data Science areas
- Outstanding communication skills with global stakeholders
- Ability to see the full picture of the project, recognize dependencies, identify risks across multiple stakeholders
- Experience working with a global client
- Experience working in agile methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban)
- Experience in Delivery Management
- Familiarity with Tableau, DBT, SQL Optimization, Jira, Confluence, Collibra, Dataiku DSS, Power BI
