Data Analyst
Summary
Junior Data Analyst maintains ClickHouse data quality, builds and updates Looker Studio dashboards, and troubleshoots discrepancies for a performance marketing agency.
Location: Hybrid — Warsaw, Poland
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Company
Media Miami is an independent performance marketing agency focused on building and scaling digital products.
Our core expertise lies in developing and growing media ecosystems for global audiences, with a strong focus on the U.S. market. We operate across key verticals, including finance, health, self-development, and astrology — delivering relevant insights, practical value, and highly engaging experiences.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to support our growing analytics operations. This is a hands-on supporting role — you will work under close mentorship of our Senior Data Analyst and focus on data quality, dashboard maintenance, and repetitive operational tasks that keep our analytics stack running smoothly.
You will not be designing systems from scratch — instead, you will execute well-defined tasks that free up senior time for architecture and strategy. This is a great entry point for someone who wants to grow into a mid/senior data role while learning ClickHouse, n8n, and Looker Studio in production.
Key Responsibilities
Data quality & dictionaries
Maintain and enrich lookup dictionaries (offer aliases, partner breakdowns, blog metadata, sub-code mappings) in ClickHouse
Regularly review distinct values in raw source tables to identify new offers, partners, and creatives that need mapping
Perform data deduplication on dictionary tables and clean up anomalies
Cross-check trackers vs affiliate network postbacks to identify missing configurations
Dashboards in Looker Studio
Build new dashboards on top of existing ClickHouse views based on stakeholder requests
Update and maintain existing dashboards: fix broken charts, add new fields, adjust filters
Configure Row-Level Security (RLS) via Filter-by-Email for new users
Onboard new users (broadcasters, marketologists) — provision access, verify their view is correct
Operational data tasks
Execute SQL migrations following documented patterns (temp-table workflows, EXCHANGE TABLES) under supervision
Update Metadata for changes in broadcaster/marketolog assignments and pause statuses
Investigate data discrepancies flagged by team members (why a blog shows no revenue, why a chart looks off)
Documentation & communication
Keep internal analytics documentation up to date as the schema evolves
Respond to ad-hoc data questions from broadcasters and marketologists in Slack
Log completed tasks and share progress in weekly syncs
Requirements
Must Have
1+ year of hands-on experience with SQL (any dialect — PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, ClickHouse)
Understanding of basic SQL concepts: JOINs, aggregations, window functions, CTEs
Experience with at least one BI tool (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, Superset)
Strong attention to detail — you notice when numbers look off
Ability to follow documented step-by-step procedures precisely
Comfortable communicating in English (written) and Russian (spoken) — team is Russian-speaking, tools and documentation are in English
Willingness to ask questions rather than guess when unsure
Nice To Have
Experience with ClickHouse specifically (or exposure to columnar databases)
Familiarity with Looker Studio calculated fields, filters, and data blending
Basic understanding of n8n or similar low-code automation tools
Experience in affiliate marketing, ad tech, or e-commerce analytics
Understanding of tracking platforms (Everflow, RedTrack, Keitaro, Voluum)
Basic Python or JavaScript for scripting simple data tasks
Understanding of ETL concepts and data pipelines
