Were looking for a data analyst to help us gain valuable insights. The successful candidate must have a passion for storytelling and will be working alongside data engineers and data scientists to obtain, analyse, and present data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dashboard creation
- Understanding and interrogation of data
- Data storytelling / journalism
- Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimise performance.
- Identify additional data sources.
- Stay up to date with new technology trends.
- Engage with users to better understand customer needs and opportunities for improvements.
- Maintaining and supporting systems along with improving existing data services
KEY SKILLS
- Business Intelligence and Visualisation: Familiarity with BI tools and dashboards (PowerBI / Tableau)
- Communication Skills: Effective communication, both technical and non-technical
- Critical Thinking: Great analytical skills, problem-solving, decision-making
- Data Analysis: Interpret data to uncover patterns and support decision making.
- Database and SQL: Knowledge of relational databases
Desirable:
- Azure Synapse
- Statistical modelling (regression, A/B testing, clustering etc)
- Python
- Data Governance
- Google Analytics
