About the role
The Data Analyst works across the company's analytics stack: the cloud data warehouse, the transformation pipelines that feed it, and the BI dashboards stakeholders rely on. Working alongside the data team, the analyst maintains and extends these day to day and turns business questions into reporting and insight. It's a hands-on analytics role with room to grow into deeper data engineering.
Hours
Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week
Key responsibilities
Maintain and extend the cloud data warehouse alongside the team: data modelling, transformation logic, and scheduled/dynamic table refresh.
Help run the ingestion and processing pipelines that feed the warehouse, including serverless cloud data services.
Build and maintain BI dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders and customers.
Support market-intelligence and analytics outputs, contributing to the work that turns raw data into delivered insight.
Monitor data quality across pipelines; investigate and help resolve refresh failures and data discrepancies.
Work with product and commercial teams to translate business questions into metrics, reports, and deliverable insights.
Write and optimise SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and automation.
About you
A degree in a relevant field (data science, computer science, statistics, analytics, or similar).
Strong SQL, and experience querying a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake or comparable, e.g. BigQuery/Redshift).
Experience building BI dashboards and reporting (Power BI or comparable, e.g. Tableau/Looker).
Python for data work and automation.
Familiarity with cloud data services (AWS an advantage: Lambda, S3, etc.).
An understanding of data modelling and ELT/ETL concepts.
Experience with Git and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code (desirable).
Experience with dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks (desirable).
Familiarity with dynamic tables / streaming or scheduled refresh patterns (desirable).
Exposure to agri/food/commodity market data or B2B marketplace analytics (desirable).
