SUMMARY

The Data Analyst – OT & Enterprise Data is responsible for supporting Operational Technology (OT) data initiatives while also serving as a key contributor to enterprise-wide data integrity and product data quality efforts. This role reports directly to the Data Integrity Team Manager, ensuring close alignment with enterprise data governance standards, while partnering closely with OT, Operations, Engineering, and IT teams.

The analyst will bridge manufacturing/OT data with core business systems (M3, Salesforce, Web, etc.), ensuring that data across the organization is accurate, consistent, well-structured, and aligned with business processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

OT Data & Operational Analytics

  • Analyze and support OT-related data sources, including manufacturing, foundry, and production systems
  • Validate and maintain data quality across OT systems to ensure accurate reporting and decision-making
  • Partner with Operations, Facility Engineering, and IT teams to align data structures with business processes
  • Support reporting, dashboards, and data extraction for OT performance, efficiency, and optimization initiatives
  • Assist with integration of OT data into enterprise platforms (e.g., Fabric, data warehouse, analytics tools)

Enterprise Data Integrity & Product Data

  • Function as a member of the Data Integrity Team, supporting enterprise-wide data quality and governance initiatives
  • Act as a data integrity analyst across core systems, including M3, Salesforce, and customer-facing platforms
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data inconsistencies across systems to ensure alignment of product, BOM, and attribute data
  • Support ongoing data cleanup and standardization efforts, including Duplicate record identification and remediation
  • Attribute standardization and normalization
  • Product structure and hierarchy improvements
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and governance practices
  • Ensure consistent and accurate product data across systems, improving reporting, operational efficiency, and customer-facing outputs

Data Governance & Quality Improvement

  • Support the Data Integrity Team’s governance framework by helping define, monitor, and enforce data quality rules and metrics
  • Participate in data audits and validation processes to proactively identify issues
  • Work with stakeholders to improve upstream data entry processes and prevent recurring data issues.
  • Document business rules, data definitions, and transformation logic to improve transparency and consistency

Business Process & Cross-Functional Support

  • Serve as a liaison between OT, Data Integrity Team, IT, and business units
  • Support key initiatives such as foundry transformations, product restructuring, and operational improvements through clean, reliable data
  • Assist in preparing and validating data for business-critical processes and projects

AI & Automation Support

  • Support data readiness for AI initiatives (e.g., mold optimization, product search, automation workflows)

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors in data science, Industrial Engineering, CS, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5+ years in data engineering/analytics; OT or manufacturing analytics preferred.
  • Certifications in IT, Data, Cybersecurity or Programming subject areas a plus

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • SQL (T-SQL), Python, DAX for Power BI, time-series modeling.
  • OEE calculations, SPC (control charts), anomaly detection.
  • OPC UA/MQTT, REST APIs; version control (Git); CI/CD for analytics artifacts.
  • Experience in Java or .NET a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, ETL tools, and BI platforms a plus
