We are investing in a 3-year vision to build a digital home for the profession across learning, standards, policy and research, beginning by building a fantastic Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team of over 30 people, balancing leadership, delivery management and technical roles, including technical capabilities in Salesforce development, data, UX, IT, AI, and security.

We are currently looking for a Data Analyst to transform Salesforce and associated CRM data into meaningful insight that supports decision-making, service improvement and the development of our digital capabilities. Working with colleagues in the DDaT team and beyond, you will:

  • Analyse Salesforce and associated CRM data to identify trends, assess impact and provide clear, actionable insight.
  • Investigate data inconsistencies and unexpected outcomes, trace root causes across imports, integrations and APIs, and support safe remediation.
  • Design and maintain reports, dashboards, data definitions, cleansing rules and reusable exception reporting.
  • Provide data requirements, rules, impact analysis and acceptance criteria for agile delivery, working closely with developers, testers and product owners.
  • Improve data quality, governance and reporting standards, while documenting processes and sharing knowledge across the organisation.

You will bring demonstrable experience of the following:

  • Practical experience in data analysis, profiling, cleansing, reconciliation and resolving complex data quality issues.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce data models and reporting, with experience of tools such as Lightning Reports and Dashboards, SOQL, Data Loader or equivalent.
  • Experience troubleshooting data from imports, integrations or APIs and safely correcting data in live environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power Query, alongside experience of data visualisation or business intelligence tools.
  • The ability to convert unclear business concerns into testable questions and communicate evidence-based findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
