About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the delivery of a major asbestos survey and compliance programme.
Reporting to the Asbestos Project Manager, the successful candidate will develop and maintain a custom internal asbestos tool integrated with the corporate Asset Intelligence ecosystem. The role will automate the controlled movement of validated survey information into asset folders, asbestos registers and live systems.

Below represents the core responsibilities of this role; this is by no means an exhaustive list:
Design and develop an internal asbestos data tool integrated with the Asset Intelligence ecosystem.
Create automated workflows to update corporate asset folders and national asbestos registers when field survey packages are finalised.
Translate technical requirements into system workflows, mandatory data fields and validation rules.
Configure user permissions, approval paths and audit logs in line with programme governance requirements.
Implement system controls preventing unvalidated data from entering production environments.
Ensure survey information is reviewed and certified by an authorised inspector before release.
Work closely with the Asbestos Project Manager, Asbestos Safety Engineer/Surveyor and Asbestos Admin Coordinator.
Validate, cleanse and reconcile asbestos survey data received from contractors.
Monitor data quality, workflow performance, exceptions and unsuccessful transfers.
Maintain accurate and traceable records of submissions, reviews, approvals and system updates.
Produce dashboards and reports showing survey progress, asset risk, data quality and outstanding actions.
Support continuous improvement of asbestos data processes, automation and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience: -
Relevant third-level qualification in data analytics, computer science, information systems, engineering or a related discipline.
Experience developing automated data workflows and integrating business systems.
Strong knowledge of data validation, cleansing, mapping and quality assurance.
Experience configuring workflow permissions, approval gateways and audit controls.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with data visualisation or reporting tools.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Power BI, SQL or similar technologies would be advantageous.
Ability to translate technical and operational requirements into effective system solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with asset-management, compliance or survey data would be advantageous.
