About the Role
SPM Professionals, a multidisciplinary firm delivering economic and financial advisory, research, and strategic solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, design intuitive dashboards, and leverage statistical methods to support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, preprocess, and integrate data from structured and unstructured sources using Python and SQL
- Conduct statistical analyses, hypothesis testing, and quantitative research using SPSS and Excel
- Build, maintain, and automate interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to monitor KPIs and business metrics
- Use Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn, Scikit-Learn) for predictive modeling and exploratory data analysis
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and deliver data-driven solutions
- Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders and management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, Power Query, data modeling)
- Strong SPSS experience (regression, ANOVA, factor analysis, research data processing)
- Proven Power BI skills (DAX, dashboard design, scheduled refresh)
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and scripting
- Fundamental SQL knowledge for database querying
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
