Job Overview
Marketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst - Supply Chain & Operations to support data-driven decision-making across supply chain, procurement, project management, and operational functions.
This position is responsible for collecting, organizing, validating, analyzing, and presenting business and operational data from multiple sources. The Data Analyst will develop reports and dashboards, monitor key performance indicators, identify trends and discrepancies, and translate complex information into clear and actionable insights for management and cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong analytical and communication skills, advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, and experience working with supply chain or operational data. Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau, as well as SQL, Python, or similar data-analysis tools, is required. Fluency in Chinese and English is required due to regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from ERP systems, procurement records, inventory reports, project trackers, finance records, and other operational sources.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports to support management and departmental decision-making.
- Develop and maintain meaningful metrics and KPIs for supply chain, procurement, project, and operational performance.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, charts, and visualizations using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Build and improve Excel-based reporting tools using formulas, PivotTables, charts, Power Query, and other data-analysis features.
- Analyze purchasing, inventory, materials, suppliers, orders, lead times, costs, delivery performance, and operational trends.
- Identify shortages, delays, variances, data discrepancies, and potential operational risks; communicate findings to the appropriate teams.
- Support supplier-performance tracking, material-availability reporting, cost analysis, and operational planning.
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple sources and coordinate with departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Support forecasting, trend analysis, variance analysis, and continuous-improvement initiatives related to reporting and business processes.
- Document data sources, metric definitions, reporting procedures, and recurring report requirements.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, engineering, project management, operations, finance, and other departments to understand business needs.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests, manage competing priorities, and provide timely analytical support in a fast-paced environment.
- Support communication with Chinese- and English-speaking internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data analysis, supply chain, procurement, operations, business analytics, or a related field.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English due to communication requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and functions, XLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, PivotTables, charts, data organization, and analysis.
- Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or another data-analysis tool is required.
- Basic knowledge of statistics, data analysis principles, and data visualization best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and communicate findings clearly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple reporting requests and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience analyzing supply chain, procurement, inventory, logistics, supplier, materials, or operational data.
- Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, management reports, and recurring reporting processes.
- Experience with ERP or business systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, engineering, construction, logistics, or other technical industries.
- Experience working with large, complex, or multi-source datasets.
- Familiarity with Power Query, DAX, data modeling, database structures, or basic forecasting methods.
- Experience supporting process improvement, reporting standardization, or data-governance initiatives.
Technical Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, charts, Power Query, and data-cleaning workflows
- Power BI, Tableau, or other business-intelligence and data-visualization platforms
- SQL querying, data extraction, joins, filtering, and aggregation
- Python, pandas, or similar tools for data cleaning, analysis, and automation
- ERP, procurement, inventory, materials-management, logistics, or project-management systems
- Supply chain, supplier, purchasing, inventory, cost, delivery, lead-time, and operational performance data
- KPI development, dashboard design, trend analysis, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Data validation, reconciliation, documentation, and reporting-process improvement
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona, supporting semiconductor, engineering, construction, operational, and corporate business environments. The position is primarily office-based and requires regular interaction with project teams, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and company leadership.
Occasional visits to semiconductor manufacturing facilities, construction sites, customer locations, or other active project environments may be required. The Data Analyst must be comfortable working at a computer for extended periods, handling confidential business and operational data, attending meetings, managing changing priorities, and supporting multiple departments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Occasional local travel and the ability to lift or move office materials, project documents, or supplies weighing up to 20 pounds may be required.
