Responsibilities and Tasks- Implement and maintain data‑driven decision making processes.
- Promote a data‑driven culture and provide quality data solutions that create business value.
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and evaluation tools to gauge project and data solution success.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, clarify, and capture customer requirements.
- Define KPIs that correlate with on‑time delivery and inventory management.
- Work with manufacturing IT and functional areas to develop strategic business processes with clear business rules.
- Collect, organize, automate, and prepare data from multiple disparate sources for analysis.
- Perform data analysis and mining to generate solutions to business problems and maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with data architects (IS engineers, BI engineers, DBAs) to ensure data availability.
- Develop and automate batch jobs for data processing and reporting.
- Identify new data sources to create insights aligned with business needs.
- Create data analytics solutions to address business opportunities and add value.
- Understand company strategy, translate business problems into projects, and develop success criteria.
- Explore data using visualization and statistical methods.
- Participate in design, model review, code review, and testing of data solutions.
- Conduct user acceptance testing of data collection forms and analytics solutions with end users.
- Continuously improve solution quality by analyzing data from deployed solutions.
- Provide communication and status updates to stakeholders, managers, and peer groups.
- Build internal and external relationships to broaden influence and learning opportunities.
- Advise stakeholders to maximize benefits to the organization.
- Mentor and coach customers on data‑driven decision making.
- Write, code, test, and analyze data solutions, applications, and automation.
- Utilize best practices to deliver high‑quality data solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Engineering (including industrial/operations engineering).
Experience RequiredMinimum2years of industry experience preferred. Strong initiative to find AI solutions to resolve issues.
Skillset- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient in at least one of the following: Claude Code, Advance Co‑Pilot, Gemini, Java, Python, NumPy, Perl, C/C++, Visual Basic, SQL, JMP, Machine/Statistical Learning, Tableau, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux, subversion, agile development methods.
- Familiarity with basic statistics (mean, sigma, p‑value, ANOVA, regression, data mining concepts, SPC).
- Passion for data analysis and delivering data solutions/automation.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks.
- Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent customer service, teamwork, consensus building, and communication skills.
- Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is a plus.
