Summary

Lead the design and build of enterprise-scale data platforms using Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Python to enable analytics and AI/ML initiatives.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect / Lead Data Engineer to lead enterprise data transformation initiatives, modern data platform development, and cloud-based analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Cloud Data Platforms, ETL/ELT development, Data Governance, and Analytics Enablement.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, architects, and engineering teams to design scalable and secure data ecosystems that support reporting, advanced analytics, AI/ML, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-scale Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions.
  • Architect modern cloud-based data platforms using Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
  • Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend, Informatica, Azure Data Factory, and Python.
  • Establish Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and curated semantic layers.
  • Lead data modeling activities including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Define and implement Data Governance, Metadata Management, Lineage, and Data Quality frameworks.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design data solutions supporting Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and technical mentoring for engineering teams.
  • Support cloud migration and enterprise data modernization programs.
