The Role

As a Data & Analytics Engineering Manager, you will lead a team responsible for building and maintaining data platforms, pipelines, and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of data and analytics engineers
  • Defining and driving the data engineering roadmap in partnership with business and technology stakeholders
  • Overseeing the design, development, and optimisation of scalable data pipelines and data products
  • Ensuring high standards for data quality, governance, security, and platform reliability
  • Supporting the implementation of cloud-based data architectures and modern engineering practices
  • Collaborating with analytics, data science, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions
  • Establishing engineering best practices, including automation, testing, and monitoring
  • Managing delivery priorities and ensuring successful execution of key data initiatives

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience leading data engineering or analytics engineering teams
  • Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop technical professionals
  • Expertise in modern data engineering principles and cloud-based data platforms
  • Hands-on knowledge of SQL and data modelling methodologies
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, analytics platforms, and data governance frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with operational delivery
  • Experience working within agile or product-led environments
