Summary
AI Engineer/consultant in Wavestone's UK Data & AI practice, delivering enterprise AI transformations end to end — from strategy and GenAI architecture to production code (Python/TypeScript, RAG, agentic systems on AWS/Azure/GCP) — while advising clients, supporting pre-sales, and mentoring other consultants.
In this role you will shape and deliver large-scale AI and data transformations for enterprise clients within Wavestone’s UK Data & AI practice. You’ll work on advisory and hands-on delivery, spanning AI strategy, GenAI implementations, and modern AI architectures. You’ll design end-to-end AI solutions, write production-grade code, and guide clients through complex technical choices while ensuring delivery quality and impact. This role offers cross-functional collaboration, thought leadership, and the opportunity to scale practical AI delivery across industries. - Strong hands-on programming skills (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Proven production experience with AI/LLM-powered applications
- Deep understanding of AI/GenAI fundamentals, including evaluation
- Experience designing RAG systems and agentic workflows
- Tool-using AI applications and API-driven architectures
- Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
