About the Role
Capstone Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing global company who are looking to expand their delivery team to services customers in the enterprise financial services sector. This is one of the first hires they are making in the region, working directly with the Country Head to deliver on an incoming pipeline of work.
This is a permanent role within the business and will hold accountability for client interaction & the design and development of AI solutions, addressing business use cases. This role is ideally based in Sydney, Australia, but is open to candidates from Melbourne, Brisbane, and other parts of Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and recommend AI-based solutions.
- Build AI Applications, AI Agents, LLM-base Applications, and integrate these with enterprise systems & APIs.
- Stay up to date with the emerging trends in AI, LLMs, and cloud AI Services, ensuring that implemented models are optimised for cost, scalability & security.
- Work collaboratively with other functions, including product teams, data science teams, engineering teams, and project delivery teams.
- Prepare and maintain architecture documentation, proposals, and customer presentations.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in AI, ML, or Gen AI solution development, with experience in popular LLMs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini.
- Hands-on experience in building AI Agents and in prompt engineering.
- Experience programming in Python with experience in vector databases and cloud AI platforms.
- Experience in AI frameworks like LangChain/Graph, CrewAI, or AutoGen is advantageous.
- Databricks Certifications are extremely advantageous in this position.
