Design and build AI and data solutions for financial clients using cloud tech like Azure OpenAI, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric, including LLMs and advanced analytics pipelines.

The Technology Consulting team works with world’s best‑known large domestic and global financial institutions, broker‑dealers, foreign banking organisations, asset management and insurance companies. We assist them with large‑scale transformation program delivery challenges.

Responsibilities
- Design and build new functionalities and solutions to client use cases, using Data & AI cloud technologies (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric).
- Build AI solutions and advanced analytics platforms.
- Data modelling, mapping and integration between source and target systems.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the Data & AI area.
- Define and estimate the scope of work needed for implementation of data systems.
- Gather, document and validate business requirements for Data & AI solutions.
- Collaborate, support and mentor other team members.
- Support side initiatives (e.g., workshops, proof‑of‑concept, product showcases).
- Utilise EY.AI capabilities, including EYQ virtual assistant and other tools, to deliver higher‑level analyses, insights and innovative ideas.
Requirements
- Very good English language in verbal and written communication.
- Willingness to develop your career in Data & AI.
- Excellent collaboration skills with teammates and stakeholders.
- Ability to plan, track and report deliverable status.
- At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, computer science or a related field.
- 2‑6 years of experience building Data & AI solutions, including data engineering, optimisation, modelling and pipelines.
- Coding and development skills in programming languages such as Python, PySpark and SQL.
- Experience implementing production‑level deployments at an enterprise scale, understanding of DevOps/DataOps principles and working knowledge of Git.
- Working knowledge of data visualisation/reporting tools such as PowerBI / Fabric.
- Experience building applications with LLMs (foundation models, APIs, frameworks, prompt engineering).
- Experience building modern application architecture (microservices, REST API, Kubernetes containers).
- Proficiency working in an Agile environment.
We would also appreciate
- Experience in large, international Data solution implementation programmes.
- Experience and knowledge of building data analytics solutions using technologies like Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar work‑tracking tools.
- Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality concepts and standards.
- Knowledge of GenAI, LLMs and ML technologies.
- Experience with NoSQL and graph database solutions.
- Technical knowledge in programming, scripting and related standards (Python, Bash, Perl, Java, Scala, JavaScript, C#).
