About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Data Architect to design and implement scalable, high-performance data
architectures. You will be responsible for defining data models, optimizing
data flows, and ensuring data governance across the organization. This role
requires a deep understanding of database design, cloud data platforms, and big
data technologies to support analytics and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
· Design
and implement scalable data architectures that meet business and technical
requirements.
· Develop
data models, schemas, and metadata management strategies for structured and
unstructured data.
· Define
and enforce data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
· Work
closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business teams to ensure
efficient data pipelines and workflows.
· Optimize
data storage and retrieval strategies for performance and cost-effectiveness.
· Architect
cloud-based and on-premise data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
· Implement
data integration and ETL/ELT processes using modern data platforms.
· Evaluate
and recommend data management technologies, tools, and frameworks.
· Ensure
data quality and integrity through robust data validation, monitoring, and
error-handling mechanisms.
· Support
advanced analytics, AI/ML workloads, and real-time data processing initiatives.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s/Master’s
degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
· Extensive
experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB,
Cassandra, etc.).
· Expertise
in data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake architectures.
· Strong
knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Redshift,
BigQuery, etc.).
· Experience
with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, DBT, Apache Nifi, etc.).
· Hands-on
experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
· Proficiency
in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing and scripting.
· Understanding
of data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA,
etc.).
· Strong
analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
· Aware
of Data Governance
Preferred Qualifications
· Certifications
in cloud data services (AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data
Engineer, etc.).
· Experience
with real-time data processing and streaming (Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming).
· Familiarity
with machine learning and AI-driven data architectures.
· Knowledge
of CI/CD and DevOps for data workflows.
