One of our clients in the IT Services sector is looking for a Data Architect.. The role involves solution delivery aligned with client technical requirements.

Key Deliverables

• Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information. Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.
  
• Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality.
  
• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions.
  
• Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.
  
• Define security and backup procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
  
• Coordinate with the Data Science department and other stakeholders to identify future needs and requirements.
  
• Provide operational support for Management Information Systems (MIS).
  

Requirements

Ideal Profile

• BSc in Computer Science or a relevant field.
  
• Proven work experience as a Data Architect
  
• In-depth understanding of:
  
• Azure Synapse Analytics
  
• Databricks
  
• Microsoft Fabric
  
• Microsoft Purview
  
• Data Lake / Delta Lake
  
• SQL Server / Azure SQL Database and other PaaS based Database engine
  
• Azure Data Factory
  
• Power BI
  
• Function App / Logic Apps
  
• Streaming Datasets (Streaming Analytics, Event Hub etc)
  
• Azure Devops (CI/CD in particular)
  
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, warehousing, and architecture best practices.
  
• Proven analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  
• Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements, knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
