Data Architect Consultant

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Architect & Integration Specialist for a consultancy mission at a client site. This role involves collaborating with internal data teams, business experts, project leaders, and suppliers to shape a future-oriented data landscape. The focus will be on defining architectural principles, implementing integration and migration strategies, and developing a sustainable approach to data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mapping the data landscape by inventorying data sources, databases, files, and applications.
• Documenting data structures, entities, and interdependencies.
• Identifying duplicate data sources, shadow IT, and data quality issues.
• Creating data mappings between existing and future systems.
• Supporting data quality and data governance by establishing agreements on data standards and reference data.
• Defining validation rules and quality controls.
• Assisting in data cleaning initiatives.
• Advising on data management, ownership, and governance processes.
• Designing a canonical data model by identifying core entities and data relationships.
• Creating an organization-wide data model.
• Defining semantic data definitions and unique identifiers.
• Aligning the model with care-related standards (FHIR).
• Developing a sustainable integration architecture by designing data flows between applications.
• Defining mappings between source and target systems.
• Supporting API and iPaaS integrations.
• Assisting in migration, archiving, and reporting initiatives by preparing data migrations to new applications.
• Advising on archiving and historical management.
• Contributing to the development of a data warehouse.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 8+ years of relevant experience as a Data Architect, Integration Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role.
• Proven experience with complex integration and transformation projects.
• Experience with API-based architectures, event-driven architectures, middleware, and iPaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of data modeling, master data management, data governance, and data quality.
• Experience with data migration projects.
