Detailed Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Data Architect / Data Modeller with extensive experience in:
• Enterprise data architecture
• Data modeling
• Data warehousing
• Cloud data platforms
• Business intelligence solutions
The candidate will be responsible for:
• Designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Defining data architecture standards.
• Developing enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Implementing data governance frameworks.
• Supporting cloud-based data platforms on Azure and AWS.
• Strong stakeholder management.
• ETL/ELT solutions.
• Data integration.
• Data quality.
• Metadata management.
• Delivering large-scale data transformation and analytics initiatives.
• Working closely with business, technology, and analytics teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
Top 3 Required Skills:
• Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, Star/Snowflake Schemas)
• Azure and AWS Data Platforms (Databricks, Synapse, Redshift, Data Factory, S3, Glue)
• Data Warehousing, SQL Development, ETL/ELT, Data Governance, and Data Quality Management
Top 3 Preferred Skills:
• Databricks Unity Catalog, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD implementation experience
• Power BI, IBM Cognos, and Enterprise Analytics Reporting solutions
• Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, or Public Sector domain experience
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Azure, AWS, TOGAF, DAMA, PMP, or Data Management certifications are considered an asset.
