Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to own the overall design and architecture of data platform. The ideal candidate will ensure the platforms compliance, scalability, and alignment with industry best practices, specifically around Azure and Databricks technologies. This role is critical to enabling robust, scalable, and secure data solutions supporting our business intelligence and analytics efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and own the end-to-end data platform architecture with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and enforce best practices for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Optimize data workflows and pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to align architecture with evolving Azure-Databricks capabilities and industry trends.
• Define and maintain documentation for data models, architecture blueprints, and platform standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data platform issues as they arise.
• Work closely with Senior Technical stakeholders
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Masters preferred)
• 5+ years in data architecture or related roles
• Certifications in Azure Data Engineering and Databricks is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams
