Summary
Designs and governs enterprise data architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Databricks), and AI models to modernize systems, ensure compliance, and optimize costs for a fintech-focused organization.
Responsible for shaping and driving enterprise data strategy through design, oversight, and enhancement of data architecture. Acts as a strategic advisor on platform modernisation, AI adoption, and governance, ensuring scalable, compliant, and cost‑effective data capabilities.
Mandate Responsibilities- Enterprise data roadmap ownership across domains and platforms. Design and governance of enterprise data and AI models, flows, and integration patterns. Cloud platform expertise with strong AWS and Databricks exposure. Data frameworks and governance embedding, metadata management, and master data principles. Strategic problem solving- advising business on scalable, cost‑effective approaches. Stakeholder influence on investment decisions, platform adoption, and responsible AI usage. Cost optimisation for storage, compute, and data movement. Technical leadership across engineering, analytics, and AI capability uplift.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 8-12+ years in data architecture, modelling, analytics, machine learning, applied AI, or enterprise data management. Strong proficiency in database technologies, integration patterns, and modern platforms. Hands‑on experience with AWS, Databricks, and other cloud services. Experience in regulated industries (financial services advantageous).
