Data Architect
Responsibilities
Define, document, and continuously evolve frameworks, standards, policies, processes, and guidelines for Data Governance and Data Quality, aligned with the organization’s data strategy.
Define methodologies, dimensions, rules, metrics, KPIs, and Data Quality monitoring processes, including mechanisms for identifying, tracking, and resolving data quality issues.
Develop and maintain standards, guidelines, patterns, and best practices for implementing Data Governance and Data Quality across different platforms, technologies, and teams.
Plan and execute Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives, from requirements definition and solution design through implementation, adoption, and monitoring of results.
Define metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to measure the maturity, adoption, and effectiveness of Data Governance and Data Quality practices, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Develop materials, guidelines, and training sessions, and promote alignment with Data Owners, Data Stewards, technical teams, and business areas, ensuring the consistent adoption of Data Governance and Data Quality practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Skills
Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.
Solid knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality practices, frameworks, and processes.
Experience with Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Quality processes.
Experience with Data Governance and/or Data Quality tools.
Knowledge of databases and analytics technologies, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and NoSQL storage architectures.
Experience with at least one Cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
