Data Architect

Data Architect

Responsibilities

  • Define, document, and continuously evolve frameworks, standards, policies, processes, and guidelines for Data Governance and Data Quality, aligned with the organization’s data strategy.

  • Define methodologies, dimensions, rules, metrics, KPIs, and Data Quality monitoring processes, including mechanisms for identifying, tracking, and resolving data quality issues.

  • Develop and maintain standards, guidelines, patterns, and best practices for implementing Data Governance and Data Quality across different platforms, technologies, and teams.

  • Plan and execute Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives, from requirements definition and solution design through implementation, adoption, and monitoring of results.

  • Define metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to measure the maturity, adoption, and effectiveness of Data Governance and Data Quality practices, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.

  • Develop materials, guidelines, and training sessions, and promote alignment with Data Owners, Data Stewards, technical teams, and business areas, ensuring the consistent adoption of Data Governance and Data Quality practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.

  • Solid knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality practices, frameworks, and processes.

  • Experience with Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Quality processes.

  • Experience with Data Governance and/or Data Quality tools.

  • Knowledge of databases and analytics technologies, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and NoSQL storage architectures.

  • Experience with at least one Cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Databricks

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
