Job Descriptions:

• Design and own enterprise data warehouse / data platform architecture, including layered architecture, dimensional modeling, data marts, and data integration flows.

• Establish and drive data governance frameworks from 0 to 1 or execute large-scale optimizations, covering data standards, metadata, master data, data quality, data lineage, data security, and privacy.

• Define and enforce standards for ETL/ELT pipelines, data quality, and security to transform complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance data solutions.

• Translate securities business data and regulatory requirements (including HKEX/SFC regulatory reporting, AML, investor suitability, and risk & compliance) into effective data architecture and governance solutions.

• Lead end-to-end data projects, managing requirements, technical design, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation support.

• Manage outsourcing vendors and external partners, reviewing technical designs, data models, code quality, and deliverables to ensure alignment with compliance and data governance standards.

• Collaborate closely with internal business units, PMO, IT teams, and Compliance/Risk departments to ensure smooth project delivery and operational stability.

• Perform other duties as assigned by line management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in data architecture, data warehousing, BI, or data engineering. Background in securities firms, exchanges, clearing houses, or financial institutions is mandatory.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in data warehouse layered architecture, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration.

• At least 4 years of deep, hands-on experience in data governance (data standards, master data, metadata, data quality, data lineage, and data security), with proven experience leading governance from 0 to 1 or executing large-scale optimizations (e.g., DAMA / DCMM frameworks).

• Deep understanding of securities business data, including brokerage, proprietary trading, asset management, risk & compliance, clearing, AML, investor suitability, and regulatory reporting.

• Proficient in SQL, Python, Spark, Kafka, Flink, and data governance / data platform tools.

• Strong end-to-end project delivery, vendor/outsourcing management, technical leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent written and spoken English and Cantonese; conversational Putonghua is required.

• Professional certifications in Data Governance (e.g., CDMP), Cloud Architecture, Big Data / ETL, Enterprise Architecture, or Project Management (PMP/Scrum) are strong advantages.
