Data Architect (Microsoft Fabric & Power BI)

About the project:

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a project focused on building modern, scalable data platforms and advanced analytics solutions. The role is centered around designing end-to-end architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and data governance.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data architectures based on Microsoft Fabric

• Develop and optimize Power BI solutions, including semantic models and DAX measures

• Build and manage Lakehouse architectures and modern data platforms

• Design and implement data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes

• Ensure end-to-end performance optimization across data and reporting layers

• Define and enforce data governance, security, and best practices

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar senior data role

• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI

• Experience with:

  • Lakehouse architecture

  • Semantic modeling

  • DAX

  • Data pipelines / ETL patterns

• Solid understanding of data platform architecture and performance tuning

• Experience with Azure ecosystem

• Knowledge of data governance, data security, and best practices

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders

• Consulting or client-facing experience
