Data Architect (Senior)
We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to support large-scale transformation initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. The role focuses on data architecture, integrations, distributed systems, and the evolution of modern platforms across cloud, microservices, and legacy landscapes.
This is a cross-functional architectural role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on technical expertise, working across multiple programmes and teams to shape architecture direction and support long-term transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Define and review enterprise data architecture and high level designs
• Support transformation of systems towards microservices and cloud based solutions
• Work across data platforms, integrations, and distributed systems
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and analysis teams across multiple projects
• Support architectural decision making and ensure consistency across solutions
• Participate in key project ceremonies and guide architecture direction
• Remove conceptual and technical blockers during delivery
• Support introduction and evaluation of new technologies and architectural approaches
Requirements
• Strong experience in data or solution architecture in enterprise environments
• Experience working with distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of data platforms, integrations, and system design
• Ability to operate across both high level architecture and detailed technical discussions
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving capability
• Experience working in complex, multi project environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Nice to have
• Experience with Azure or cloud based data platforms
• Experience in banking or regulated environments
• Experience with Kubernetes, SaaS integrations, or large scale enterprise ecosystems
• Experience defining HLD documentation
