Data Architect

Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a strong background in data architecture, data engineering, or modern data platform delivery.
• We require experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions end to end.
• We need strong hands-on experience with Azure data technologies, including ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL, Data Lake, and Fabric.
• We require expertise in data modelling techniques.
• We need the ability to gather and translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
• We are looking for strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities:

• We lead data architecture design across client projects, ensuring scalable and secure solutions.
• We design and deliver cloud data platforms using Azure technologies such as Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Fabric.
• We define data models, pipelines, integrations, and overall architecture frameworks.
• We engage with stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to technical delivery teams.
• We present architecture decisions and proof-of-concept solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• We shape client data strategies, challenging approaches and promoting best practices where appropriate.
• We support pre-sales activities, including RFI/RFP responses and proof-of-concept development.
