Our client, a global consulting firm is supporting a leading bank undertaking an initiative to strengthen its data infrastructure, management reporting and operational governance.
The consultant will lead the development of data pipelines and reporting dashboards, integrating core banking, General Ledger (GL) and CRM data to enable reliable, timely insights for senior management. The role will involve improving data quality, automating reporting processes and strengthening data access controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage data pipelines to extract and integrate data from Finacle, GL and CRM systems into a centralised reporting data mart.
- Develop senior management dashboards for governance, performance monitoring and operational processes using Power BI or equivalent tools.
- Automate daily data refreshes, data quality checks and reporting workflows.
- Establish data validation and access control mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, consistency and security.
- Work with the bank's IT, data and business teams to translate reporting requirements into scalable data solutions.
Your Background:
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience in data engineering, BI or analytics, preferably in banking, financial services, fintech or IT services.
- Experience working with core banking systems, particularly Finacle, and extracting data from General Ledger and CRM platforms.
- Strong expertise in building data pipelines, reporting data marts and management dashboards.
- Proficiency in Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools.
- Experience leading data engineering or BI projects, ideally at Project Manager, Director or equivalent level.
- B.E., B.Tech or MCA qualification.

Work arrangement: Full-time, onsite
Duration: 12 months, with potential extensions of 6+6 months
