Data Business Analyst
Summary
A data-focused Business Analyst (Sydney, remote-friendly) shaping a bank's next-generation Big Data and analytics platforms. Day to day: outlining the data roadmap and working hands-on with agile engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders, drawing on data engineering experience in warehousing, modelling and pipelines.
As a data-focused Business Analyst, you will help shape and deliver the bank's next generation Big Data/Data Analytics platforms.
With a strong engineering background, you will be comfortable working alongside an agile team of engineers, data scientists, analysts, business, and technology stakeholders with a key focus on outlining the data road map that will support and service project stakeholders.
What you will bring to the team:
- A strong technical background
- Data Engineering experience (warehousing, modelling and pipelines)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work hands-on alongside a team of data professionals, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Proven experience gathering / eliciting / validating / documenting business requirements to design and deliver outcomes.
