Data Business Analyst
Summary
NTT DATA, a global IT services and consulting firm, is hiring a Data Business Analyst in Central London to engage client stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver data analysis and data projects. Core tools include SQL, Python, Hive, and BI platforms such as PowerBI, Qlik, and Tableau.
Salary: £41,000 - 81,000 per year
Requirements:- 5+ years of experience in data, consulting, analytics, or a related function involving quantitative data analysis to solve problems.
- Strong background in the data landscape and demonstrable experience delivering data projects across Data Product Ownership and Data Analysis.
- Extensive experience in one or more of the following sectors: Telco-Media, Insurance, or Public Sector.
- Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Proficiency in query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig, Python, and R.
- Expertise with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, and Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Great project management skills and the ability to bring the abstract into focus.
- Ability to operate in demanding situations while maintaining drive, enthusiasm, and delivery focus.
- Ability to interface with and manage relationships with business people and technologists at senior levels.
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is a plus.
- Engage with client stakeholders to clarify goals and objectives and ensure alignment.
- Collate detailed requirements to feed into data products and solutions.
- Conduct detailed data analysis covering data content, lineage, and governance to meet business requirements and outcomes.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources.
- Interpret data and analyse results using visualisations.
- Use data to answer key questions about the business.
- Deliver takeaways from data.
- Create reports and documentation to demonstrate the value of the work delivered.
- Deliver data projects with and for our clients.
- Remain up to date with the growing applications of Data Analytics and share this knowledge with the wider Data & Intelligence practice.
