Data Center Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for Data Center Engineer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for supporting the daily operations, maintenance, and reliability of critical data center infrastructure, including electrical, HVAC, power distribution, and facility systems. Depending on your experience, you may be assigned to handle technical operations, infrastructure projects, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, or team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections, monitoring, and preventive maintenance of data center infrastructure.
Monitor electrical, HVAC, UPS, generators, and other critical facility systems using BMS/DCIM.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and respond to system alarms following standard operating procedures.
Support infrastructure projects, maintenance activities, and equipment upgrades.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and operational documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and company procedures.
Provide technical support during critical events and emergency situations.
Senior-level candidates may also supervise operations personnel, coordinate projects, and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 2+ years of experience in data center operations, facilities management, or critical infrastructure are highly preferred.
Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, UPS, generators, low-voltage systems, or Building Management Systems (BMS/DCIM) is an advantage.
Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and facility operations is preferred.
Relevant technical certifications (Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration, Fire Safety, PMP, etc.) are a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must have a personal laptop.
