You're with a colleague in a data center in Amsterdam. You replace 16 battery modules in a UPS system that the biggest tech companies depend on.
Wednesday
Brussels
Maintenance on three UPS units in a data center just outside Brussels: you check the DC connections to the battery breakers and use thermography to spot connections running warm.
Thursday
Rotterdam
Battery measurements at a site in Rotterdam: you record voltage and conductance per battery and report the results to the client.
Friday
Preparation
Preparing the next project: checking materials, pre-assembling racks and battery strings at the warehouse and coordinating with the team.
