Data center Infrastructure Project Manager
Summary
Lead end-to-end project management for data center builds, expansions, and IT infrastructure deployments. You will coordinate technical teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver servers, storage, networking, and M&E infrastructure while managing risks, schedules, and operational readiness.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Data Center & IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support the delivery of complex data center and IT infrastructure projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across data center new builds, expansions, retrofits, IT infrastructure deployments, M&E infrastructure, commissioning, migration, and technology readiness. This role will work closely with technical teams, customers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that IT infrastructure is delivered in alignment with physical data center readiness. The role requires a strong technical understanding of data center environments, excellent project management capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a complex delivery environment.
Key responsibilities
Lead and support end-to-end project management for data center and IT infrastructure projects.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.
Establish project governance, KPIs, reporting structures, RAID logs, and communication plans.
Track project progress against agreed timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
Ensure adherence to PMO standards, change management processes, and project documentation requirements.
Manage delivery activities associated with data center new builds, expansions, upgrades, and retrofits.
Coordinate IT infrastructure deployment including servers, storage, network infrastructure, virtualization, racks and cabinets, structured cabling, and power and cooling infrastructure.
Act as the key project coordination point between WWT, customers, technology teams, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
Coordinate commissioning, testing, acceptance, and operational readiness activities.
About you
Strong project management and delivery leadership skills.
Deep understanding of data center infrastructure and IT environments.
Strong knowledge of data center power, cooling, racks, cabling, and structured cabling systems.
Understanding of server, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
Experience with data center construction, commissioning, and critical-path management.
Strong risk management, problem-solving, and dependency management capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects and workstreams simultaneously.
Strong understanding of project governance, change management, RAID management, and PMO processes.
Familiarity with structured service management practices (e.g., incident, change, and problem management).
