Data Center IT Operations Engineer (7*24)

Salary: RM 7,000 – RM 7,200 per month

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the daily operation and monitoring of data center facilities.

• Perform basic infrastructure inspections to ensure the stable operation of power, cooling, and server systems.

• Support on-site equipment installation, cabling, rack & stack, and equipment decommissioning activities.

• Maintain relevant documentation and update asset and inventory management systems.

• Respond to on-site incidents and escalate issues when necessary.

• Comply with data center safety, security, and operational procedures.

About you

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Willing to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and night shifts.

• Strong interest in infrastructure, hardware, and hands-on technical work.

• Detail-oriented with good execution skills and operational awareness.

• Able to follow established procedures and work effectively as part of a team.

• Previous data center experience is not required; comprehensive training will be provided.
