Data Center Network Engineer
Summary
Designs and implements high-performance data center networks for AI Factories and accelerated computing, using Ethernet, VXLAN-EVPN fabrics, and automation tools like Ansible.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of advanced data center network solutions
- Architect high-performance infrastructures for AI Factories and large-scale accelerated computing
- Deliver expert Ethernet guidance throughout the customer engagement lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support server infrastructure and GPU-accelerated workloads
- Create and evaluate DevOps automation for network operations, including configuration templates and deployment pipelines
- Implement and validate network architectures across customer data centers
- Support customer design workshops, testing cycles, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs)
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on networking experience
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 fundamentals, Ethernet switch configuration, and TCP/IP
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting VXLAN-EVPN-based data center fabrics
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, Salt, or Puppet
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Ability to engage directly with customers to gather requirements and design architectures
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNP or equivalent certification
- Advanced networking certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or ACE-E
- Linux administration or engineering certifications
- Hands-on experience with Cumulus Linux / Cumulus OS
- Knowledge or certification in InfiniBand networking
