Trinity Consulting Services is hiring a Data Center Network Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to deploy, implement, and troubleshoot data center network and security infrastructure. The role focuses on Layer 2 routing/switching, enterprise firewalls (FortiGate, Check Point), and Linux-based firewall management with nftables/iptables.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering, data center networking, deployment, and implementation.
- Strong hands-on experience in routing and switching, particularly Layer 2 networking.
- Proven experience implementing and managing enterprise firewall solutions such as:
- Fortinet FortiGate
- Check Point Firewall
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, preferably RHEL or other enterprise Linux distributions.
- Experience with Linux firewall management using nftables and/or iptables.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, network segmentation, access control, and packet filtering.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure deployment, implementation, troubleshooting, and configuration management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident resolution skills.
