Data Center Specialist (Xin001_HW2T)

8 - 10 years Information Technology experience is required.

5 years of experience, working in Data Center Operations with one or more of the following: network, distributed systems, mainframe, midrange, batch.

Experience working in a large or enterprise Data Center environment that consist a minimum of 50,000 sq ft. of raised floor.

2-3 years of experience with Business Continuity Planning.

Solid background developing, implementing and improving process and procedures.

Strong procedural documentation skills are required.

Candidate should be fully competent in using various software tools packages such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access and Microsoft Project Experience responding to audits such as (SOX, PCI etc.).

Pervious Healthcare experience is highly desired. Certification/familiarity with the ITIL foundation library preferred.

Position must have minimum of 5 years experience in working within large scale mission critical data centers. Solid understanding fiber and copper cable design.

Must have basic knowledge of Cisco network products.

Lead efforts to direct 3rd party physical security provide and have overall integrity and physical security.

Provide extensive quality assurance and control over activities occurring on the data center floor. Experience working with large scale outsourcing agreements & providers.

Demonstrated ability to be proactive and predictive to ensure the delivery of world class hosting services.
