Data Center Technician

We are looking for an On-Site Data Center Technician to support technical operations and maintenance activities within a high-performance AI compute data centre. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with GPU and server hardware, networking infrastructure, and structured data centre procedures, enabling operations teams to maintain mission-critical uptime.

• Diagnose and resolve on-site transceiver and cabling failures across InfiniBand, Ethernet, and fibre interconnects; perform structured cabling changes between servers, ToR switches, and spine-leaf infrastructure.
• Execute hot-swap and cold-swap replacement of GPUs, CPUs, DIMMs, drives, PSUs, and networking hardware (switches, line cards); perform system restarts and POST validation following changes.
• Initiate and manage RMA processes with OEM vendors (NVIDIA, Supermicro, Dell, Arista); coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, serialisation, burn-in, and acceptance procedures.
• Conduct structured daily hardware inspection rounds covering all racks, PDUs, and cooling infrastructure; log findings in the ITSM ticketing platform and escalate anomalies promptly.
• Serve as on-site responder for P1/P2 hardware incidents; perform triage, guided recovery, and IPMI/BMC-based power cycles as directed by the remote NOC or on-call engineering team.
