This is a hands‑on, high‑responsibility role suited to an engineer who thrives in structured, high‑stakes environments.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily M&E operations including HT/LV systems, gensets, UPS, PDU, generators, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, and fire protection
- Execute and monitor PPM schedules in line with SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs
- Coordinate and supervise vendors for preventive and corrective maintenance

- Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with work permit procedures
- Prepare and maintain documentation including PPM master planners and service reports
- Attend customer operation meetings and manage escalations for unforeseen facility events
What We're Looking For
- Minimum STPM, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in M&E maintenance within a data centre or mission‑critical environment
- Solid knowledge of Data Centre operational risk, emergency response, and maintenance best practices
- Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis for M&E systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Intermediate level or above)
- Willing to work on‑call (24/7 availability) and travel between KL HQ and Cyberjaya Data Centre as required (On‑call – weekend allowances provided)
Nice‑to‑Have
- Prior exposure to HVAC operations within data centre environments
- Experience interpreting data trends and preparing performance reports
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You…
- You stay calm and focused when managing critical incidents under time pressure
- You take ownership of tasks and can work independently with minimal supervision
- You're meticulous by nature — you notice the details others miss and follow through consistently
- You enjoy building strong working relationships with vendors, customers, and cross‑functional teams
