A field-based infrastructure engineer role in Sydney supporting a Federal Government client's data centres. Day to day involves analysing service availability and reliability, implementing remediation and preventative measures, writing and testing simple scripts, designing system components to agreed standards, and coordinating resources on ICT infrastructure and data centre projects.
One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Data Centre Field Infrastructure Engineer in Sydney.
We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:
- Analyses service and component availability, reliability, maintainability and serviceability.
- Assists with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
- Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors simple programs/scripts.
- Designs system components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns and methodology.
- Experience with design and delivery of ICT infrastructure projects, data centre and equivalent spaces.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating resources and accurate recording of effort.
