Role Description

The Data Center Load Bank Test Engineer is responsible for planning and executing load bank testing and commissioning activities for data center electrical and cooling systems. This role involves testing UPS, generators, ATS/STS, PDU, LV/MV systems, and air-cooled or liquid-cooled load banks to verify system performance against project specifications. Daily tasks include reviewing technical drawings and test procedures, monitoring electrical and thermal parameters, identifying abnormalities, troubleshooting, and preparing test reports. The engineer will coordinate closely with commissioning teams, contractors, vendors, and BMS/DCIM teams to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant system operation throughout the testing process. This position is fully on-site, requiring consistent presence at the data center project location and active involvement throughout testing and commissioning activities.

Qualifications :

• Minimum D3/S1 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, HVAC/Refrigeration Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Data Center, Testing & Commissioning, Electrical Testing, or Critical Facility projects.
• Must hold a relevant Electrical Competency Certificate (SKT/SBU) or have proven work experience with medium- or high-voltage electrical systems.
• Good understanding of UPS, Generator, ATS/STS, PDU, LV/MV electrical systems.
• Able to read and understand Single Line Diagram (SLD), electrical drawings, and HVAC schematics.
• Familiar with electrical and testing instruments such as Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Thermal Imager, and Flow Meter.
• Strong awareness of K3 / electrical safety.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage for coordination with Chinese Principal/Project Team.
• Willing to work overtime, shifts, and travel to project locations as required.
