Summary
Designs, deploys, and migrates enterprise data-center networks using Cisco Nexus/NX-OS, IOS-XE, ACI, VMware NSX, and Fortinet/Juniper firewalls.
Job Description
Minimum 10 years practical experience in implementing complex Data Centre Network Infra and execution of network project infrastructure deployment involving migration of application. Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, Catalyst, Nexus with a minimum of 5 years of experience at an expert level. VMWare NSX & DFW hands‑on experience (minimum 1–2 years). Exposure to DNS and SDWAN at a conceptual level.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Hands‑on working experience with routers and switches: Cisco NX‑OS & IOS‑XE.
- Firewall experience: Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco.
- Project experience preferably in migration of network infrastructure and application flow through firewalled environments.
- Demonstrate expert understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols.
- Expert design knowledge of IP‑based networking architecture.
- Understanding of IGP & BGP IP routing protocols.
- Experience configuring Cisco ACI, NX & IOS‑XE platforms.
- Deep expertise, understanding, and knowledge of infrastructure network and security—routing and switching, firewalls.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco network hardware such as Cisco NX‑OS switches, IOS‑XE switches, Cisco ACI, Fortinet, and Juniper firewalls.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python.
- Proven experience working on large scale projects.
- Planning, coordination and execution of assigned network delivery projects.
- Perform coordination with internal/external vendors, internal bank personnel and other stakeholders for matters relating to network delivery.
- Ensure compliance with bank standards, processes, and controls.
- Perform documentation, knowledge transfer, and handover to the operations team.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in networking.
- Mandatory skills: Cisco Routing and Switching.
- Strong experience in complex Data Centre Network Infra implementation.
- Expertise in VMWare NSX & DFW.
- Experience with DNS and SDWAN (conceptual level).
