About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Network Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team supporting large-scale network deployment and infrastructure projects in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience in large-scale network environments, particularly within hyperscale, cloud, telecommunications or data centre infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and support large-scale backbone, edge, data centre, campus and CDN infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP and SDN.
Develop technical implementation documentation including MOPs, BOMs, EDPs, SOWs and Rack Face Elevations (RFEs).
Coordinate network deployments, equipment deliveries and site activities.
Support equipment provisioning and production turn-up.
Troubleshoot network, hardware, server and automation issues.
Work with Linux or Windows server environments and technologies including DNS, DHCP, ZTP and HTTP.
Collaborate with engineering, operations and field teams to deliver projects successfully.
Complete post-deployment checks, documentation and operational handovers.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and deployment efficiency.

Requirements

5–7 years' experience in network engineering or a similar infrastructure role.
Strong experience with large-scale network deployments.
Good knowledge of IP routing and switching.
Practical experience with BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, TCP/IP and SDN.
Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, systems and automation.
Experience coordinating technical projects and multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with Linux or Windows server environments.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.

Desirable Experience

Experience within hyperscale, cloud, telecommunications, data centre, AI infrastructure or large-scale technology environments would be highly advantageous.
