  • Lead email and SMS outreach strategy across programs, campaigns, events, and audience segments.

  • Build segmented audience journeys and automated communications that support acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and re-engagement.

  • Coordinate targeting and campaign cadence across teams to balance organizational priorities, reduce audience overlap, and maintain list health.

  • Refine messaging, segmentation, and frequency based on campaign results.

Email & SMS Management

  • Oversee email and SMS formatting, testing, scheduling, deployment, and subscriber growth.

  • Monitor deliverability, engagement, conversions, opt-outs, and growth; test messaging, calls to action, targeting, and timing to improve results.

  • Manage SMS infrastructure and vendor coordination to support reliable, scalable outreach.

  • Maintain consent, audience preferences, list health, and platform requirements while reducing ineffective communications.

CRM, Data & Systems Management

  • Manage and troubleshoot integrations across CRM, web, forms, registration, messaging, and analytics platforms; ensure accurate data transfers and backups.

  • Partner with teams and vendors to automate data flows, resolve system gaps, and improve reliability and scalability.

  • Document consistent processes for collecting, storing, using, and reporting audience data.

  • Platforms may include ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, WordPress, CData, WP Fusion, Gravity Forms, Twilio, GrowSurf, Zoom, WooCommerce, Zapier, Tableau, and GA4, plus other current or future systems.

Analytics, Reporting & Attribution

  • Report digital performance, audience trends, and actionable recommendations to leadership and campaign teams.

  • Track acquisition, engagement, and meaningful conversions across email, SMS, landing pages, forms, registrations, and referrals.

  • Establish benchmarks and campaign goals, using results to guide strategy and improvements.

  • Partner with teams and advertising vendors to improve attribution through UTMs, GA4, and conversion tracking, connecting outreach to registrations, applications, participation, and other organizational goals.

Audience Growth & Digital Campaigns (Student / Activist Age)

  • Develop acquisition and referral campaigns that grow student, activist, supporter, email, and SMS audiences.

  • Coordinate campaign assets with creative, marketing, communications, and program teams, establishing measurement before launch.

  • Convert website visitors, event attendees, social audiences, and campaign participants into long-term subscribers; assess acquisition sources by volume and sustained engagement.

  • Support digital strategy for major campaigns, rapid-response initiatives, political or legislative outreach, events, and program launches.

Website, Forms & Conversion Infrastructure

  • Support integrated landing pages, forms, registrations, CRM records, automated follow-up, and analytics.

  • Ensure forms capture appropriate information and transfer data accurately; troubleshoot tracking and conversion issues with teams and vendors.

  • Implement GA4 events, UTMs, and conversion tracking that distinguish traffic and clicks from submissions, registrations, and other meaningful actions.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Manage Digital Engagement team and contractor workflows, setting priorities, deadlines, ownership, and quality standards.

  • Review campaigns for technical accuracy, targeting, tracking, and brand alignment before deployment.

  • Coordinate advertising, website, SEO, technology, messaging, and analytics vendors; assess solutions for organizational fit, performance, scalability, cost, and integration.
