About the Role
We’re building out a pipeline of data and AI-driven solutions and are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to help design, build and optimise our data platforms.
This role will focus on building robust ETL pipelines, implementing data warehouse structures, and enabling high-quality data for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes
- Design and implement enterprise-grade data warehouse solutions (e.g. star/snowflake schemas)
- Work with MSSQL-based data platforms for staging, transformation and serving layers
- Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across pipelines
- Optimise performance and reliability of data processes
- Contribute to data architecture and platform design decisions
- Produce clear design and architecture documentation
- Work closely with developers, analysts and business stakeholders on data requirements
- Support CI/CD for data pipelines and infrastructure
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT patterns and best practices
- Hands-on experience designing Data Warehouses (fact/dimension modelling, star/snowflake schemas)
- Strong SQL skills (MSSQL required)
- Experience building scalable data pipelines in Azure
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (highly desirable)
- Experience with data validation, monitoring and error handling
