Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a team responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions. The role involves building efficient and scalable data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data availability to support different business needs.

Work Model: Hybrid – 1 day per week at the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Deliver data solutions into production environments, creating tangible business value.
• Develop and optimize data transformation and processing workflows using Python, Apache Spark, or other distributed data processing frameworks.
• Define and implement Data Engineering best practices, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency.
• Design and optimize data models and structures to support different data consumption requirements.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure the quality and reliability of data solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a senior-level role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Apache Spark or other distributed data processing frameworks.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining data pipelines in production environments.
• In-depth understanding of data concepts, data structures, and data modelling techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Data Engineering best practices, including data optimization, quality, and reliability.
• Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• Ability to understand different data consumption needs and design appropriate solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Availability to work on-site once a week.
