Data Engineer (AMI)
Summary
Designs, builds, and maintains data infrastructure for AMI data collection, processing, storage, and analytics. Works with cloud technologies, data pipelines, and big data systems like Hadoop and Spark.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Cloud / Data Engineering certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in data engineering or similar roles.
Expertise in data pipeline design and development.
Proficiency in databases and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system optimization skills.
Experience working with large-scale data systems, preferably utility or AMI environments.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams including IT, cybersecurity, and operations.
Written and spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
