How you will make an impact

As an AI/Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable data and analytics solutions. You will build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

  • Data modelling (designing data models that support analytics, reporting, and AI workloads)

  • Prepare and structure data for analytics and AI use cases

  • Enable AI/ML solutions by delivering reliable data for training, inference, and monitoring

  • Develop pipelines that support Machine Learning models and AI services in production

  • Work with AI/ML practitioners to operate solutions (data availability, performance, MLOps alignment)

  • Contribute to the evolution of the data platform to support advanced analytics and AI

  • Help shape and mature our operating model and ways of working

  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, tools, and collaboration

  • Strengthen the partnership between business and IT

  • Contribute to building a high-performing and collaborative team culture for a newly established team in Arla IT

What will make you successful

We are looking for someone with a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for data and analytics, combined with the ability to communicate clearly across stakeholders.

  • Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure (e.g., Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Functions, CI/CD, Terraform, Unity Catalog, Fabric)

  • Solid experience with ETL processes and data transformation

  • Strong skills in Python/PySpark and SQL

  • Experience working with data pipelines supporting AI/ML use cases is an advantage

  • Ability to work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data

  • Strong communication skills in English
