Data Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing data from various sources.

• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver clean, reliable data sets.

• Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows to move and transform data efficiently.

• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems.

• Maintain and enhance data infrastructure using modern tools and best practices.

• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to deploy and manage data solutions.

• Implement and enforce data governance, security, and privacy practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Atleast 3 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java).

• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, data modeling, and data warehousing.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data services (e.g., Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake) is a plus

• Knowledge of best practices in data architecture, security, and governance.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
