Data Engineer
Summary
Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouses, ensuring data quality and performance while collaborating with analysts and data scientists. Core stack: SQL, Python or Java, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and ETL/data modeling frameworks. Based in Metro Manila.
We're looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in data integration, database management, ETL processes, and data optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Build and optimize data warehouses, databases, and data integration solutions.
Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, security, and consistency.
Optimize data processing performance and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and cross-functional teams.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and data workflows.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, or database management.
Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
Experience with Python, Java, or other programming languages.
Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with big data technologies and data orchestration tools is an advantage.
