Data Engineer – AWS and SQL – Sydney

Delivery Centric is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, database performance tuning, data modelling, and AWS data services. The role involves developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, building cloud-native data solutions, and supporting data migration, governance, security, and operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience

· 8+ years of experience in database and data engineering.

· Strong expertise in SQL, database performance tuning, and data modelling.

· Experience with AWS data services, including: Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, AWS Quick

• Familiarity with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) is desirable.
• Proficiency in Python and/or PySpark.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-native data solutions.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery practices.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and operational support.
